As you will now know, through omlet, we are hoping to arrange "hen parties".....if there is a demand for them. The cost of these has yet to be finalised. They will be structured and informative. But at the same time, they will also be, relaxed and not without humour.

Anyone considering keeping a few good laying hens in their garden and requiring some basic, (or even more advanced information) would benefit from this group session. The focus will be on learning the basics of keeping hens for the first time, as well as displaying omlets hen houses.

And with this in mind, we took arrival of their two houses two days ago. Yesterday, we assembled them and put them on display. This is the first time we have seen them assembled. And although they need no endorsement from us, they are all they, and their customers, say they are. They are well designed quality, houses. They are not cheap, but they are designed to a high standard and make use of quality materials throughout.

And what our own self designed and self constructed hen houses?

We now have them on display beside the "eglu" and the "the eglu cube".

Our poultry houses are more traditional in design. Made of "treated wood & exterior plywood" They are also quality designed and constructed houses.....comfortable and safe for your chickens, but at the same time they allow you easy access to your hens.

I have to be honest here....and say ours are not as expensive. It may simply come down to.... "you pays your money and you takes your choice".

However, (and I hope "the omlet people" would agree with us).....Although their houses are of a totally modern design and ours are most definitely of the traditional appearance, both theirs and ours would look good in any setting....and offer value for money.

To make your choice easier, why not come along to "Happy Hen Hoose" and see all four house in the front garden? At the same time you will see "OUR NEW ISA WARREN LAYERS" settled happily in their new houses.
