Our E-Bay Sales

We occasionally sell on E-Bay. Follow this link to view items currently for sale. All of our auctions carry the following terms and conditions and are treated with the same care and attention that you would expect were you to be visiting us personally.

1. We stock and breed A Range of Rare Pure Breed and Traditional Poultry.
2. Regularly de wormed. Feed supplemented with natural vitamins and tonics.
3. “Happy Healthy Hens” produce quality eggs with High Rates of Fertility.
4. We collect only the Freshest Hatching Eggs, up to the morning of Dispatch.
5. We test our eggs regularly for Fertility and aim to send only the best quality.
6. Our eggs are posted, “ROYAL MAIL 1st. CLASS” only, for Freshness.
7. Our eggs are posted safely in, “Custom Made Professional Polystyrene Boxes”.
8. DEFRA registered... All eggs from our “OWN HEALTHY BREEDING STOCK”.
9. The processes involved in Posting, Incubation etc. may affect hatching rates.
10. No guarantees, but as honest fair traders we will strive hard to resolve problems.
11. Advice, if required freely and respectfully given.

GENERAL INFO. on ourselves, poultry etc.

We are poultry enthusiasts. We enjoy breeding a range of Rare and Traditional Poultry.
Now selling on e-Bay, we will be offering for sale, a range of, “sought after” hatching eggs from our very rare breeds and more popular farmhouse range of hens and ducks.

All our eggs are from our own healthy, quality UK birds. (We are DEFRA REG).

I have decided to add this recent UPDATE.....AUTUMN 2007.

Our venture on to e-BAY has proved very successful....for ourselves and customers alike.

The "FEEDBACK"has been 100% POSITIVE and we have received many follow-up email messages from delighted customers....some totally new to poultry and successfully managing a 100% HATCH.

We are aware all this could change. And if it did, we, (like others before us) would have to look again at e-BAY selling.

Reputation for providing qualiity products, poultry and a good service are hard earned...and it seems can be lost very quickly (and unfairly), by the one or two eBAY customers, who might be impossible to please.

Should I decide in the future not to trade on e-BAY, it will be for the reason given above, or simply.....insufficient hatching eggs.

All our birds give us continual pleasure, and deserve to be well looked after…and maybe also spoilt too much. This is reflected, not only in the providing of leading, top quality feed, and a range of mixed grain, corn and maize. It is more importantly maybe shown by the time we spend with them. Their health and welfare is our main priority of our birds.

It probably goes without saying all our birds are regularly de-wormed... and medicated when necessary. On an on- going basis they are also given the natural organic tonic... “Life-Guard Tonic”, which among many other benefits, helps maintain disease free poultry, supports the bird’s immune system, and reduces mortality.

Quality feed and care, produces happy healthy poultry....... and happy healthy poultry produce highest quality fertile hatching egg.... This in turn means,“happy  customers”.

Can posting eggs affect hatching and fertility? Yes regretfully at times it can. That, and a less professional approach to the incubation process, may affect your hatching success.

With this in mind, the usual proviso applies. Like other sellers, we can’t give a guarantee.

However, like most e-Bay buyers and sellers, we try to be honest and fair, and certainly not driven totally by profit.....  (That said, an occasional “little profit” would be nice)

If you feel unsatisfied, that we have not tried genuinely to offer value for money, do give us an opportunity to address it.  If to every problem there is a solution, we will try our best to find it. This can only operate successfully, if everyone’s approach is reasonable.

The list above, and this summary, under the heading, “OUR e-Bay SALES” defines our general -e Bay terms and conditions. 

Although the growing local interest for hatching eggs means it is unlikely our supply will  ever meet fully the demand,

We would expect, as  relative newcomers to e-Bay, to concentrate our efforts into e-Bay and certainly try to meet the requirements and needs of e-Bay Buyers.
