SUMMMARY NOTES.......

This is a new addition to the services we offer and an added page to our website. From the beginning of supplying poultry to our customers we have always at the same time supplied many of the books above to our customers calling to collect their poultry.

With regard to anyone new to poultry keeping, "Starting with Chickens" by Katie Thear was the automatic choice.....similiarly with her other books "Starting with Ducks" etc.

As will be noted by the books above, we are offering the choice of all her books as well as some other highly recommended books by experienced authors. All the books offered are in the same"practical, "easy to understand" text, at a price that will suit everyone.

We are a small family business with very limited space....We do breed poultry and ducks, but space does not allow us  to keep, sheep, pigs, and goats etc. But, with an interest in "all things country" we have read and enjoyed all the books mentioned above.....and would highly recommend any, or all of the above, to anyone, who may have the same interest in "all things country", or are even more fortunate to have the extra space that will allow them extend their range of livestock.

Any of these books above would be an ideal small present for a family member or family friend......or even a nice wee useful gift to yourself.

This is our first venture into "mail order" and we are not even near that stage of the automated  stage of....."your basket is still empty" (and probably never will be.) Certainly at this time that would be " a bit too techy" and professional for us.

If you wish to order a book or two, please use our contact link... contact us, .....phone at (01542) 841100.....email....or by letter, in the first instance... and we will take it from there..thank you.

We would expect the list above to remain quite constant, unless increasing demand, or maybe even lack of interest means we will look at this new addition to our business  again.

At this time, it is no more than an extra small service we are offering our new and existing customers, which we hope will be of some value to yourselves. Thank You.
